KORENMOLEN 'de Hoop', blijkens opschrift op het wiekenkruis uit 1887 daterend en gebouwd als ronde bakstenen stellingmolen met rondom verspreid rondboogvensters met onder een vierruitsverdeling en boven een gebogen drieruitsverdeling, afgewisseld door negenruitsvensters waarvan van beide typen een enkele met luik; voorts een omgaande houten stelling.
Karakteristieke negentiende-eeuwse dorpskorenmolen met stelling, tezamen met de naastgelegen molenaarswoning de enige nog in Rozenburg aanwezige negentiende-eeuwse bebouwing vormend en als zodanig van belang, alsook uit oogpunt van cultuurhistorische waarde.

Description
CORN MILL 'de Hoop', dating from 1887 according to inscription on the mill cross and built as a round brick framed mill with round-arched windows scattered all around, with four-light glazing below and curved three-light glazing above, alternating with nine-light windows, of which both types have one each with shutter; furthermore a surrounding wooden framework.
Characteristic nineteenth-century village corn mill with framing, together with the adjoining miller's house the only remaining nineteenth-century building in Rozenburg and as such of importance, also from the point of view of cultural-historical value.
