Omschrijving
PAND, dat bestaat uit een in aanleg 16e eeuws of ouder, in de 18e eeuw ingrijpend verbouwd voorhuis, een tussenlid met keuken, gang en een tweede trappehuis, alsmede een uit de tweede helft van de 17e eeuw daterend, slechts de halve perceelbreedte beslaand achterhuis. Het voorhuis heeft een ongepleisterde lijstgevel van laat 18e eeuws karakter. Deur met panelen, gesneden kalf en bovenlicht, waarin een zeshoekige lantaarn, het geheel gevat in een ingangsomlijsting met gesneden consoles en verkropt hoofdgestel. Voor het huis een stoep van blauwe steen met hardstenen stoeppalen. De ten dele nieuwe onderkeldering van het voorhuis sluit aan op een onder de straat gelegen werfkelder. Delen van de oorspronkelijke kapconstructie zijn nog aanwezig. Inwendig bezit het huis o.m. een langgerekte 18e eeuwse gang met witmarmeren vloer en plint, vlakke panelen in de muur met marmeren onderdorpel en gelobde bovenkant, stucplafonds en boven de deur aan het eind van de gang een stucpaneel in Lodewijk XV-VORMEN. De gangdeuren hebben geprofileerde en ten dele getoogde omlijstingen. In de gang voorts een muurfontein van marmer, vervaardigd omstreeks 1900 in maniëristische neorenaissancevormen. In enkele kamers van het voorhuis 18e of 19e eeuwse schoorsteenmantels en stucplafonds. In een der kamers een schoorsteenbetimmering, vermoedelijk uit de 18e eeuw. In de linker achterkamer een schouw van marmer met houten boezem, versierd met Lodewijk XV-SNIJWERK en beschilderingen. Het middenpaneel vertoont een pastorale voorstelling op doek, geschilderd door Gerard van Nijmegen (1735-1808). Voorts bezit het pand een 18e eeuwse trap, waarboven een poort met paneel en getoogde deuren. Tot het pand behoort een tuin, aan de noordzijde begrensd door een ten dele 18e eeuwse, ten dele 19e eeuwse tuinmuur met beren. Het achterste gedeelte wordt aan de achterzijde afgesloten door een keermuur met beren.

Description
BUILDING, which consists of a front house dating in layout to the 16th century or older, substantially rebuilt in the 18th century, a connecting section with kitchen, corridor and a second staircase, as well as a rear house dating from the second half of the 17th century, occupying only half the plot width. The front house has an unplastered cornice-topped facade of late 18th century character. Door with panels, carved calf and fanlight, in which a hexagonal lantern, the whole set within an entrance frame with carved consoles and broken pediment. Before the house a step of blue stone with hard stone bollards. The partly new undercellar of the front house adjoins a yard cellar situated beneath the street. Parts of the original roof truss structure are still present. Internally the house possesses, among other things, a long 18th century corridor with white marble floor and skirting, flat panels in the wall with marble underpanelling and lobed top, stucco ceilings and above the door at the end of the corridor a stucco panel in Louis XV forms. The corridor doors have profiled and partly arched frames. In the corridor further a marble wall fountain, made around 1900 in mannerist neo-renaissance forms. In several rooms of the front house 18th or 19th century chimney mantels and stucco ceilings. In one of the rooms a chimney breast casing, presumably from the 18th century. In the left rear room a marble chimney piece with wooden overmantel, decorated with Louis XV carving and paintings. The central panel shows a pastoral scene on canvas, painted by Gerard van Nijmegen (1735-1808). The building further possesses an 18th century stair, above which a door with panel and arched doors. The building includes a garden, bounded on the north side by a partly 18th century, partly 19th century garden wall with bears. The rear section is closed off on the rear side by a retaining wall with bears.
