Omschrijving
NED. HERV. KERK.
In oorsprong eenbeukige, 12e eeuwse dorpskerk gewijd aan de H. Nicolaas.
Van deze romaanse kerk zijn tufstenen muurgedeelten aan de zuid- en de westzijde bewaard, evenals de onderbouw van de toren.
Het schip is verhoogd in XIV en XV B, het vijfzijdig gesloten koor is gebouwd XVa en een verhoging van de toren vond plaats tegelijk met de laatste verhoging van het schip.
De kerk draagt houten tongewelven met trekbalken; de toren heeft een kruisribgewelf.
Inventaris: eiken preekstoel (XVII), herenbank (XVII) en twee koperen kaarsenkronen (XVII).
Kerk en toren zijn gerestaureerd van 1950-'59.
Klokkenstoel met klok van T. Both, 1588, diam. 58,8 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, Eijsbouts, 1958, elektrische opwinding.

Description
REFORMED CHURCH.
Originally a single-aisle, 12th-century parish church dedicated to St. Nicholas.
Of this Romanesque church, tuff stone wall sections on the south and west sides are preserved, as well as the base of the tower.
The nave was heightened in the 14th and 15th centuries, the five-sided enclosed choir was built in the first half of the 15th century and an elevation of the tower took place at the same time as the final heightening of the nave.
The church has wooden barrel vaults with tie beams; the tower has a cross-ribbed vault.
Inventory: oak pulpit (XVII), gentlemen's pew (XVII) and two brass candle crowns (XVII).
Church and tower were restored from 1950-'59.
Bell frame with bell by T. Both, 1588, diameter 58.8 cm. Mechanical tower clock, Eijsbouts, 1958, electric winding.
