Omschrijving
(R.K. Kerk van St. Lambertus). Deze moderne kerk welke zelf niet op de lijst wordt geplaatst is de opvolgster van een in 1829 gebouwde kerk aan de Speelheuvelstraat, die op haar beurt een schuurkerk verving welke in 1672 geopend en in 1760 verbouwd was. De middeleeuwse kerk, grotendeels uit 1436 vv. daterend, in 1648 aan de Hervormden gekomen, werd in 1870 gesloopt. In de moderne kerk is de vorige overgenomen: een rijk gesneden hoofdaltaar, ca 1750, met levensgrote beelden van Franciscus, Jozef, Augustinus en Elias, en twee altaarstukken, 1753 door O.E. Pirotte, voorstellende Johannes de Doper, Anna en Maria. Voorts een eiken communiebank uit 1750, twee stenen wijwatervaten (XVIIId) in vaasvorm. Orgel met Hoofdwerk en Positief, in 1858 gemaakt door F.C. Smits. In 1963 gerestaureerd en uitgebreid met een vrij Pedaal.

Description
(R.C. Church of St. Lambertus). This modern church which itself is not placed on the list is the successor to a church built in 1829 on the Speelheuvelstraat, which in turn replaced a barn church which was opened in 1672 and rebuilt in 1760. The medieval church, largely dating from 1436 onwards, came to the Reformed in 1648, was demolished in 1870. In the modern church the previous one was taken over: a richly carved high altar, ca 1750, with life-size figures of Francis, Joseph, Augustine and Elias, and two altarpieces, 1753 by O.E. Pirotte, depicting John the Baptist, Anna and Mary. Furthermore an oak communion bench from 1750, two stone holy water fonts (second half of 18th century) in vase form. Organ with Great and Positive, made in 1858 by F.C. Smits. Restored in 1963 and extended with a free Pedal.
