Omschrijving
"Jagershuis" of Leeuwarder Veerhuis". Rechthoekig PAND met verdieping en zolderverdieping, onder met pannen gedekt dak, dat aan de westzijde is afgewolfd en aan de oostzijde aansluit tegen een puntgevel. In de westgevel jaartalankers: 1712; is de oostgevel een gebeeldhouwde gevelsteen met ramskop en hoekrozetten en het opschrift: "Pieter Thomas Hofstra en Iemkje Sietses Boonstra, anno 1818". Het Jagershuis diende als veerhuis voor de jagers en passagiers van de trekschuiten naar Leeuwarden.

Description
"Jagershuis" or Leeuwarden Ferry House". Rectangular BUILDING with storey and attic storey, under roof covered with tiles, which on the west side is arched and on the east side adjoins a gable end wall. In the west facade year anchors: 1712; the east facade has a carved facade stone with ram's head and corner rosettes and the inscription: "Pieter Thomas Hofstra and Iemkje Sietses Boonstra, anno 1818". The Jagershuis served as a ferry house for the hunters and passengers of the horse-drawn canal boats to Leeuwarden.
