Omschrijving
SLUISWACHTERSHUIS. Het oorspronkelijke deel van het sluiswachtershuis bestaat uit een rechthoekige, parallel met de sluis in de voormalige zanderijvaart geplaatste woning zonder verdieping, gedekt door een schilddak (midden 17e eeuw). De lange gevel aan de sluiszijde bevat een middendeur waarboven een rond venster, en een venster te weerszijden, de tegenovergestelde gevel twee vensters. De indeling van de vensters is niet oorspronkelijk.
De latere aanbouw aan de oostzijde heeft de waarde van het huis niet in overwegende mate aangetast.

Description
LOCK KEEPER'S HOUSE. The original part of the lock keeper's house consists of a rectangular dwelling, placed parallel with the sluice in the former sand-digging waterway, without an upper storey, covered by a hipped roof (mid-17th century). The long facade on the lock side contains a central door above which is a round window, and a window on either side; the opposite facade has two windows. The arrangement of the windows is not original.
The later extension on the east side has not significantly impaired the value of the house.
