Omschrijving
Segment van verdedigingswerk vesting Naarden, deel uitmakend van de Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. Het werk bestaat uit een aanleg van aardwerken met natte gracht en bijbehorende bebouwing zoals hierna genoemd.
De aanleg vormt een onderdeel van de verdedigingswerken rond Naarden en omvat een courtine tussen bastion Katten en bastion Oranje, voorliggende natte gracht met daarin gelegen ravelijn Katten-Oranje.
Op de courtine bevinden zich:
- Een poterne/doorgang door de hoofdwal, ongeveer halverwege de courtine (gebouw a), voorzien van gemetselde vleugelmuren, met aan de buitendijksezijde schotbalksponningen;
- Een bomvrije remise, gesitueerd aan de ZO-zijde van de courtine (gebouw F).

Description
Segment of fortified work vesting Naarden, forming part of the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie. The work consists of a layout of earthworks with wet moat and associated structures as named below.
The layout forms part of the fortifications surrounding Naarden and comprises a curtain between bastion Katten and bastion Oranje, adjoining wet moat with a raveline situated in it, the Katten-Oranje raveline.
On the curtain are situated:
- A postern/passage through the main rampart, approximately halfway along the curtain (building a), provided with masonry wing walls, with slot mortices for shutter beams on the exterior dike side;
- A bombproof remise, situated on the SE side of the curtain (building F).
