R.K.KERK van St. Servatius.
Kerkgebouw, bestaande uit een in 1525 voltooide gotische toren en een in 1839-1840 in Waterstaatsstijl (barok klassicisme) gebouwde kerk. De bakstenen toren is een vlak opgaand bouwwerk, heeft aan de zuidoosthoek een uitgebouwde achtkante traptoren en telt twee door een natuurstenen lijst gescheiden geledingen, waarvan de onderste geheel vlak is en de bovenste in elke zijde twee spitsboognissen vertoont, in welker bovengedeelte telkens een galmgat. Omgaand boogfries onder de spits. van vier- tot achtkant ingesnoerde steile spits, bekroond door een bol. Gerestaureerd in 1955. Driezijdig gesloten basilicale kerk, in Waterstaatsstijl gebouwd en neogotisch uitgebreid; in de schipmuren nog gedeeltelijk middeleeuwse kerk. Driezijdig gesloten koor. Inventaris: preekstoel met beeldengroep (Johannes de Doper prekende) deels Waterstaatsstijl, deel neogotisch. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk, Positief en vrij Pedaal, in 1852 gemaakt door F.C. Smits. Grafsteen van de zeeheld Joan van Amstel (die onder De Ruyter en Tromp aan vele zeeslagen deelnam, overleden in 1669) met grafschrift van Vondel. In de kruisingtoren klok van anonieme gieter, 1686, diam. 55 cm.

Church building, consisting of a Gothic tower completed in 1525 and a church built in Waterstaatsstijl (baroque classicism) in 1839-1840. The brick tower is a flush-faced structure, has a built-out octagonal stair tower at the southeast corner and comprises two storeys separated by a natural stone moulding, of which the lower is completely plain and the upper shows in each side two pointed arch niches, in whose upper parts each a belfry opening. Surrounding arch frieze under the spire. Steep spire constricted from four to eight sides, crowned by a sphere. Restored in 1955. Three-sided closed basilical church, built in Waterstaatsstijl and extended neogothic; in the nave walls still partially medieval church. Three-sided closed choir. Furnishings: pulpit with figure group (John the Baptist preaching) partly Waterstaatsstijl, part neogothic. Organ with Great, Upper, Positive and free Pedal, made in 1852 by F.C. Smits. Gravestone of the naval hero Joan van Amstel (who participated in many naval battles under De Ruyter and Tromp, died in 1669) with epitaph by Vondel. In the crossing tower bell by anonymous founder, 1686, diam. 55 cm.
