Omschrijving
Uit 1876-1878 daterende, 16-zijdige, conische, gietijzeren VUURTOREN naar ontwerp van Q. Harder en uitgevoerd door gieterij Penn en Bauduin. De toren is 55 m. hoog, is roodbruin geschilderd en heeft 17 etages.
Rond het gietijzeren lichthuis met koperen koepel bevindt zich een omloop rustend op opengewerkte consoles en voorzien van balustrades; tweede omloop met balustrade rondom onder de vensters van het lichthuis.
Toegangsdeur met deurroosters en spitsboogvormig bovenlicht met tracering van toten en driepas.
Spitsboogvenster met oorspronkelijk driepas tracering in boogveld.
Gedecoreerde gietijzeren trappen en gietijzeren kuip.
Aan de voet van de toren twee gedenkplaten.

Description
LIGHTHOUSE dating from 1876-1878, 16-sided, conical, cast-iron, to the design of Q. Harder and executed by the foundry Penn and Bauduin. The tower is 55 m. high, is painted red-brown and has 17 storeys.
