ZUIDELIJKE HOUTLOODS. 19e-eeuwse, mogelijk oudere, open houtloods, opgetrokken onder pannen zadeldak met houten gebintconstructie, die de ruimte door middel van telkens drie standvinken op stenen poeren in zeven vakken verdeelt; de ruim overstekende kap wordt voorts door zijwaartse schoren gesteund; de korte uiteinden zijn voorzien van een liggend beschot dat aan de onderzijde is ingezwenkt, en van een puntgevel met makelaar.
De drieledig opgebouwde loods is evenwijdig aan de Leidse Rijn gelegen tussen het molenaarshuis en de zagerij van "de Ster"; aan de noordzijde het lorriespoor dat westwaarts over de stalen brug voert.
De recente aankapping aan de noordzijde valt buiten de bescherming.

Description
SOUTHERN TIMBER SHED. 19th-century, possibly older, open timber shed, erected under a tiled gabled roof with wooden roof truss structure, which divides the space into seven bays by means of three struts on stone piers each time; the generously overhanging roof is further supported by lateral braces; the short end walls are provided with horizontal boarding that is hinged at the underside, and with a pointed gable with a brace.
The tripartite shed is situated parallel to the Leidse Rijn between the miller's house and the sawmill of "de Ster"; on the north side the tramway that leads westwards over the steel bridge.
The recent roof extension on the north side falls outside the protection.
