Omschrijving
MOLENERF. Het grotendeels verharde terrein wordt gevormd door het thans resterende molenerf van "de Ster" en wordt begrensd door de Leidse Rijn aan de zuidzijde, de Z-vormige gracht aan de noord- en oostzijde en eindigt aan de westzijde met een noord-zuid georienteerde smalle sloot, die de scheiding vormde tussen het molenerf van "de Ster" en het voormalige molenerf van de in 1909 afgebroken molen "de Bijgeval".
De elementen van aanleg zijn: de evengenoemde smalle scheidingssloot, de stalen brug over deze sloot, het lorriespoor dat langs de verschillende houtloodsen naar de brug liep, de balkhaven voor de sleephelling en langs de Leidse Rijn tot de gracht, alsmede de sleephelling van de houtzagerij.

Description
MILL YARD. The largely paved terrain is formed by the now remaining mill yard of "de Ster" and is bounded by the Leidse Rijn on the south side, the Z-shaped ditch on the north and east sides and ends on the west side with a north-south oriented narrow watercourse, which formed the division between the mill yard of "de Ster" and the former mill yard of the mill "de Bijgeval" demolished in 1909.
The elements of the layout are: the aforementioned narrow dividing watercourse, the steel bridge over this watercourse, the lorry track that ran along the various timber sheds to the bridge, the timber haven for the slipway and along the Leidse Rijn to the ditch, as well as the slipway of the sawmill.
