Omschrijving
Volgens de principes van het Nieuwe Bouwen door G.Th. Rietveld in opdracht van G.H. Hillebrand in 1935-'36 ontworpen, geheel vrijstaand WOONHUIS met GARAGE. Het is samengesteld uit een twee bouwlagen tellend hoofdblok onder laag tentdak met recht overstek en de op de noordhoek aangebouwde garage en opgetrokken in baksteen met vlakke, witgepleisterde muren op een lage ongepleisterde plint, doorbroken door in smalle stalen kozijnen gevatte vensters met grote dito onderverdeling en een op een vaste maatverhouding gebaseerde, variabele grootte.
De ingang bevindt zich geheel rechts in de van de weg afgekeerde noordoost gevel in het lage, met de garage verbonden bouwblok; het hogere hoofdblok bevat links een gesloten muurvlak en in het midden en rechts, per bouwlaag, elk drie en twee gekoppelde vensters, waarbij het venster rechtsonder naar beneden is doorgetrokken.
De zuidoost gevel - langs de straat - bezit een vrijwel blinde middenstrook - met slechts een klein bovenraam - en per bouwlaag elk links een dubbelvenster, het onderste langer, en rechts een drieledige vensterstrook.
De zuidwest gevel is doorbroken door vele glasvlakken en rechts boven van een balkon met stalen buisleuning voorzien en links een kleine uitbouw.
De noordwest gevel is grotendeels gesloten, met beneden alleen rechts een klein venster en op de verdieping links en rechts elk een venster.
Woonhuis vanwege de algehele architectonische en technische vormgeving (zowel in exterieur als in interieur) en situering als representatief voorbeeld van de Nederlandse bijdrage aan het Nieuwe Bouwen uit de periode 1920-40 van algemeen belang wegens de betekenis voor de ontwikkeling van de moderne architectuur.

Description
Designed according to the principles of the Nieuwe Bouwen by G.Th. Rietveld on commission from G.H. Hillebrand in 1935-'36, entirely detached DWELLING HOUSE with GARAGE. It is composed of a main block comprising two storeys under low pitched roof with straight overhang and the garage built onto the north corner and constructed in brick with flat, white-rendered walls on a low unrendered plint, pierced by windows set in narrow steel frames with large similar glazing bars and a variable size based on a fixed proportional system.
The entrance is located entirely to the right in the north-east facade facing away from the road in the low building block connected to the garage; the higher main block contains on the left a closed wall surface and in the middle and right, per storey, three and two coupled windows respectively, whereby the window on the lower right is extended downwards.
The south-east facade - along the street - has an almost blind central strip - with only a small upper window - and per storey a double window on the left, the lower one longer, and on the right a three-part window strip.
The south-west facade is pierced by many glazed surfaces and on the upper right furnished with a balcony with steel tube railing and on the left a small extension.
The north-west facade is largely closed, with below only on the right a small window and on the upper storey on the left and right one window each.
Dwelling house on account of its overall architectural and technical design (both exterior and interior) and siting as a representative example of the Dutch contribution to the Nieuwe Bouwen from the period 1920-40 of general importance for its significance in the development of modern architecture.
