Omschrijving
Monumentaal KOOPMANSHUIS (midden XIX) met sobere empire lijstgevel. In natuursteen gebosseerde parterre, waarin links deuromlijsting met pilasters, gebeeldhouwd lofwerk boven de boog van het gesneden bovenlicht en oorspronkelijke dubbele deur. Boven de waterlijst, die de parterre bekroont, de vier hoge vensters van de eerste verdieping met gietijzeren balkonhekjes en schuiframen uit de bouwtijd in natuurstenen, geprofileerde omlijstingen. Hierboven de lagere vensters van de tweede verdieping op doorlopende waterlijst, eveneens in geprofileerde omlijstingen. In het fries onder de door consoles gedragen kroonlijst verdiepte velden en rozetten.

Description
Monumental MERCHANT HOUSE (mid 19th century) with austere empire cornice-topped facade. Ground floor in natural stone with rustication, in which on the left door framing with pilasters, sculptured moulding above the arch of the cut fanlight and original double door. Above the drip moulding, which crowns the ground floor, the four tall windows of the first storey with cast-iron balcony railings and sash windows from the period of construction in natural stone, moulded framings. Above these the lower windows of the second storey on continuous drip moulding, likewise in moulded framings. In the frieze below the cornice carried by consoles recessed panels and rosettes.
