Omschrijving
Uit 1893 daterende, ronde, conische, gietijzeren vuurtoren (hoge licht) naar ontwerp van A.C. van Loo en uitgevoerd door gietrij Penn en Bauduin. De toren is 21 m. hoog, is grijs geschilderd (voorheen roodbruin) en heeft 6 verdiepingen. Rond met gietijzeren lichthuis met koperen koepel bevindt zich een omloop rustend op consoles en voorzien van classicistische balustrade. Rechtgesloten dubbele toegangsdeur waarboven gedenkschrift, getoogde 4-ruits vensters en reeks kleine ronde vensters aan de bovenzijde van de toren. De toren is in 1974 buiten gebruik gesteld.

Description
Dating from 1893, round, conical, cast iron lighthouse (high light) designed by A.C. van Loo and executed by foundry Penn and Bauduin. The tower is 21 m. high, is painted grey (formerly reddish-brown) and has 6 storeys. Round with cast iron lantern house with copper dome, there is a gallery resting on consoles and furnished with classicist balustrade. Right-closed double entrance door above which a memorial inscription, transomed four-light windows and series of small round windows at the top of the tower. The tower was taken out of service in 1974.
