Omschrijving
Buitengrachtse oever. De gracht wordt door een duiker onder de Landpoortstraat gevoerd. De gehele zuidelijke oever is een voortzetting van het talud langs de contre-escarpen met veel groen en geboomte tussen de grachtoever en de rijweg van de Stationssingel. Tussen het wandelpad naar het dierenpark en de grachtoever ligt een groenstrook met geboomte. Het dierenpark en de noordelijk hiervan gelegen terreinen worden aan de westzijde begrensd door de spoordijk. Ten noorden van de insteekgracht loopt een wandelpad met groenstrook. Binnengrachtse oever. Vanaf de duiker buigt de gracht om de noord en wordt begrensd door de tuinen van de percelen Landpoortstraat 22-28. De oever zet zich voort langs de achterzijde van de percelen aan de Molenstraat en het R.K.kerkhof en de percelen aan de zuidzijde van de Wal. De oever heeft een glooiend talud. Verder wordt de oever begrensd door een groenstrook met betonnen kademuur voor de kleuterschool en door fraaie tuinen van villa's aan de Wal, eveneens met een glooiend tallud. North of the inlet ditch runs a path with a green strip. Inner ditch bank. From the culvert the ditch bends around the north and is bounded by the gardens of the lots Landpoortstraat 22-28. The bank continues along the rear of the lots on the Molenstraat and the R.K. cemetery and the lots on the south side of the Wal. The bank has a sloping slope. Further the bank is bounded by a green strip with concrete quay wall for the kindergarten and by fine gardens of villas on the Wal, likewise with a sloping slope.
