ROOMS-KATHOLIEKE KERK van St. Lucia.
Zijgevel en toren aan de Marktstraat. Gebouwd in 1735, sterk gematigde Duitse Barok.
Schip op vierkante plattegrond met uitgebouwd koor waartegen een achtkante toren, bekroond door een zelfde lantaarn als het mansardedak der kerk.
Boven de ingang als salvegarde het wapen Karel Philips van de Pfaltz-Neuburg, graaf van Megen en Ravenstein.
In de afgeschuinde hoeken van het schip nissen met beelden.
Inwendig koepelgewelf van stuc met moderne beschildering. Decoratief meubilair uit de bouwtijd: statig hoogaltaar, preekstoel, banken, die in het koor met rijkgesneden rugschotten. De bijbehorende zijaltaren rond 1950 gesloopt. Vier goed gesneden biechtstoelen, twaalf houten Apostelbeelden, vroeg negentiende-eeuwse geschilderde kruiswegstaties, schilderij van de Graflegging (achttiende eeuw). Hardstenen achtkante doopvont (vijftiende eeuw). Eiken beeld van de moeder Gods, rond 1500, goed werk van de Nederrijnse school. Weelderig meest achttiende-eeuws zilverwerk. Side facade and tower on the Marktstraat. Built in 1735, strongly moderated German Baroque.
Nave on square ground plan with extended choir against which an octagonal tower, crowned by the same lantern as the mansard roof of the church.
Above the entrance as safeguard the arms of Charles Philip of the Palatinate-Neuburg, Count of Megen and Ravenstein.
In the chamfered corners of the nave niches with figures.
Internally coffered vault in stucco with modern painting. Decorative furnishings from the building period: stately high altar, pulpit, benches, those in the choir with richly carved back panels. The associated side altars demolished around 1950. Four well-carved confessionals, twelve wooden Apostle figures, early nineteenth-century painted stations of the cross, painting of the Entombment (eighteenth century). Sandstone octagonal baptismal font (fifteenth century). Oak figure of the Mother of God, around 1500, fine work of the Lower Rhenish school. Luxuriant mostly eighteenth-century silverware.
