Ned. Herv. Kerk. Eenbeukige laatgotische dorpskerk uit de eerste helft van de 16e eeuw met driezijdige koorsluiting en houten tongewelf met trekbalken. Slanke toren, eerste helft 11e eeuw, met een versiering van spitsboognissen, waarin traceringen en een boogfries onder de ingesnoerde naaldspits. Kerk en toren gerestaureerd 1927-1928. Tot de inventaris behoren: een 17e eeuwse eikenhouten preekstoel met koperen predikantslezenaar; een doophek, 17e eeuw, thans ten dele nog aanwezig in de consistoriekamer; een koperen voorzangerslezenaar bewaard in de consistoriekamer; twee 17e eeuwse banken met toogpanelen; een orgelkas, eerste helft 19e eeuw en drie koperen kaarsenkronen, 17e eeuw. In de consistoriekamer een marmeren Lodewijk XV-schouw met schilderstuk, voorstellend een gezicht op het dorp Nieuwerkerk in de 18e eeuw. Van oorsprong eenklaviers orgel, in 1770 gemaakt door P. van Assendelft voor de R.K. kerk te Vlaanderen. In 1852 uitgebreid met een Onderpositief door L. van den Brink. In 1891 is dit orgel overgeplaatst naar Nieuwerkerk. Klokkenstoel met klok van anonieme gieter, 17de eeuw, diam. 108,7 cm.

Description
Netherlands Reformed Church. Single-aisle late Gothic village church from the first half of the 16th century with three-sided choir closure and wooden barrel vault with collar ties. Slender tower, first half of the 11th century, with decoration of pointed arch niches containing tracery and an arch frieze beneath the constricted needle spire. Church and tower restored 1927-1928. Among the inventory are: a 17th century oak pulpit with brass preacher's lectern; a baptismal gate, 17th century, now partly still present in the vestry; a brass cantor's lectern preserved in the vestry; two 17th century benches with canopy panels; an organ case, first half 19th century and three brass chandelier crowns, 17th century. In the vestry a marble Louis XV fireplace with painted panel, depicting a view of the village of Nieuwerkerk in the 18th century. Originally a single-manual organ, made in 1770 by P. van Assendelft for the Roman Catholic church in Vlaanderen. In 1852 extended with a Swell positif by L. van den Brink. In 1891 this organ was relocated to Nieuwerkerk. Bell frame with bell by anonymous founder, 17th century, diameter 108.7 cm.
