Het geheel ijzeren TOEGANGSHEK bij villa Buitenlust uit 1884 bestaat uit twee vleugels tussen slanke colonelvormige pijlers, geflankeerd door halfronde wangen. Goudkleurig geverfde ornamenten op de uiteinden van de verticale spijlen in de vleugels en op de uiteinden van de radiale spijlen van de wangen. Bloemknopmotieven als beëindiging van de zuiltjes ook goudkleurig geverfd.
Waardering
Het laat-19de-eeuwse hek is van algemeen belang vanwege cultuurhistorische waarde, de functioneel-historische relatie met de villa Buitenlust.

The entirely iron ACCESS GATE at villa Buitenlust from 1884 consists of two wings between slender colonel-shaped piers, flanked by semicircular cheeks. Gold-coloured painted ornaments on the ends of the vertical spokes in the wings and on the ends of the radial spokes of the cheeks. Flower bud motifs as termination of the small columns also gold-coloured painted.
Valuation
The late 19th-century gate is of general importance on account of cultural-historical value, the functional-historical relationship with the villa Buitenlust.
