REFTER, haaks op Commissariswoning staand rechthoekig gebouw, met natuursteen bekleed, zadeldak gevat tussen trapgevels aan voor- en achterzijde; in de gevel aan de Groenmarkt hoge spitsboogvensters. De laatgotische zaal die oorspronkelijke het refter vormde van de Abdij en sinds de Reformatie vele bestemmingen heeft gehad (laatstelijk als gymnastiekzaal), is bij het jongste herstel van het Abdijcomplex ingericht tot Statenzaal.

Description
REFECTORY, standing perpendicular to the Commissioner's residence, rectangular building faced with natural stone, saddle roof set between stepped gables at front and rear; in the facade facing Groenmarkt high pointed-arch windows. The late-Gothic hall which originally formed the refectory of the Abbey and since the Reformation has had many uses (most recently as a gymnasium), was arranged at the latest restoration of the Abbey complex as a States Hall.
