Omschrijving
Toren van de Ned. Hervormde kerk. Aan de westkant van de kerk staat de geheel ingebouwde toren. De onderbouw van de toren, die samenvalt met de westgevel van de kerk, is van donkerrode baksteen opgetrokken. Hij dagtekent van 1780 en is een ontwerp van J. van der Linden uit Den Haag. De toren heeft een houten bovenbouw van twee vierkante geledingen bekroond met een koepeldak, ontworpen door de Rotterdamse stadsarchitect P. Adams in 1830. Toren van de Hervormde kerk, van belang uit een oogpunt van architectuurgeschiedenis. In koepel gelui bestaande uit een klok van G. Bakker, 1779, diam. 37,5 cm en drie moderne klokken. Mechanisch torenuurwerk vermoedelijk van de firma Weule, 1923, voorzien van elektrische opwinding.

Description
Tower of the Reformed church. On the west side of the church stands the completely built-in tower. The base of the tower, which coincides with the west facade of the church, is constructed of dark red brick. It dates from 1780 and is a design by J. van der Linden from The Hague. The tower has a wooden superstructure of two square sections crowned with a dome roof, designed by Rotterdam city architect P. Adams in 1830.
