In de stadsuitleg naar ontwerp van Thomas Romein rond 1870 ontstaan drie bouwlagen tellend uit baksteen opgetrokken blokvormig pand, op natuurstenen plint en gedekt door een met pannen belegd afgeknot schilddak.
In de, door stucpilasters afgezette en door horizontale banden symmetrisch ingedeelde, gevel, door balkon op gebeeldhouwde consoles overhuifde ingang; getoogde T-vensters; gekorniste kroonlijst met klossen en goot op consoles.
Voor het huis eenvoudig gietijzeren hek.

Description
Arising in the urban development according to the design of Thomas Romein around 1870, a three-storey block-shaped building built of brick, on a natural stone plinth and covered by a hipped roof laid with tiles.
In the facade, marked off by stucco pilasters and divided symmetrically by horizontal bands, an entrance overshadowed by a balcony on sculptured consoles; round-arched T-windows; moulded cornice with blocks and gutter on consoles.
In front of the house a simple cast-iron gate.
