Station N.S. Station uit de tweede aanlegperiode van de Staatsspoorwegen (plm 1884), dat de compositie van de vorige periode (betrekkelijk klein middenstuk van twee verdiepingen met langgerekte lage zijvleugels) combineert met de levendiger architectuur van de neo-renaissance (afwisseling van bak- en natuursteen, rijker geleding der wanden). Topgevels verdwenen, doch oorspronkelijke stations naamsaanduiding op de zijgevels bewaard gebleven.

N.S. Station. Station from the second construction period of the Staatsspoorwegen (circa 1884), which combines the composition of the previous period (relatively small central section of two storeys with elongated low side wings) with the more lively architecture of the neo-renaissance (alternation of brick and natural stone, richer articulation of the walls). Gable ends disappeared, but original station name designation on the side facades preserved.
