Whitewashed and partly whitepainted, residential house situated at the dyke (second half of 18th century), at the front without and at the rear with upper storey under a hipped roof tiled with blue cross-tiles between spout gables with interlaced boards and with chimneys at the ridge ends; in the rusticated plastered and cornice-finished front facade four arched T-shaped windows with plume pieces and in the centre a double door with cast-iron door grilles and arched fanlight with plume piece; in the left side gable a narrow arched sash window and two attic windows; in the rear gable on the ground floor opening doors in original frame, door with cast-iron grille (below), 19th-century glazing bars (above) and with fanlight and two windows with casements in original frames and blinds, and on the upper storey four 6-light sash windows. Internally: original layout with as main features partly 18th- partly 19th-century components: fireplace, large bed-alcove and secondarily applied tiled floor in room left front; walls lined with white tiles with moulding and three tile tableaux (dog; cat; rural scene, Beusekom Verwijk, 1788) in manganese-violet tiles in room left rear below; kitchen (right rear below) with walls of white tiles and floor of black and white tiles; corridors with marble floors; original roof truss with three tie-beam trusses and oak roof boarding. Good and intact example of a somewhat more richly executed 18th-century village house, provided with modifications to 19th-century fashion (second half of 19th century).
