Ned. Herv. KERK. Gebouwd in 1639-1641 met steun van Prins Frederik, hersteld in 1859, geheel uitgebrand in 1911 en bij de herbouw gewijzigd, na oorlogsschade gerestaureerd in 1951. In plattegrond een Grieks kruis met korte armen, die, in opstand, met lessenaardaken tegen het hogere vierkante middendeel aansluiten. Open koepel op het pyramidale dak uit 1912. Steunberen met ingezwenkte buitenkant, vensters met spitsbogen. Eiken kansel in Lodewijk XV stijl, uit omstreeks 1760, afkomstig uit de kerk van Zevenbergse Hoek. Description
Reformed Church. Built in 1639-1641 with support from Prince Frederik, restored in 1859, completely burned out in 1911 and modified during reconstruction, after war damage restored in 1951. In ground plan a Greek cross with short arms, which, in elevation, connect with lean-to roofs against the higher square central section. Open dome on the pyramidal roof from 1912. Buttresses with bevelled outer side, windows with ogival arches. Oak pulpit in Louis XV style, from around 1760, from the church of Zevenbergse Hoek. Single-keyboard organ, made in 1865 by H. Knipscheer for the Reformed Church at Noordwijk aan Zee. In 1988 restored and placed in Hooge Zwaluwe in a glass house by A. Standaart from 1911. Mechanical tower clock, firm De Klok, 1956.
