Omschrijving
Gouvernementshuis. Thans paleis van de commissaris der koningin. In 1615 als Jezuietencollege gesticht, in 1629 ingericht voor de gouverneur van 's-Hertogenbosch en in 1768-1769 geheel verbouwd door Pieter de Swart.
Natuurstenen gevel met middenrisaliet en fronton, deels gebosseerd, in Lodewijk XVI stijl.
Inwendig gesneden trapleuning, 18e en vroeg 19e eeuwse inventarisstukken. Het uurwerk van de Statenzaal stamt nog van de Jezuietenkerk uit 1615.

Description
Government house. Now palace of the commissioner of the queen. Founded in 1615 as a Jesuit college, converted in 1629 for the governor of 's-Hertogenbosch and completely rebuilt in 1768-1769 by Pieter de Swart.
Natural stone facade with central projection and pediment, partly roughcast, in Louis XVI style.
Internally carved stair rail, 18th and early 19th-century furnishings. The clockwork of the States Hall still comes from the Jesuit church of 1615.
