Herv. KERK EN TOREN op omgracht kerkhof. Gotisch kerkgebouw met oudere onderdelen uitwendig in de 19e eeuw grotendeels bemetseld; tegen de noordzijde van het vijfzijdig gesloten schip sacristie met verdieping onder zadeldak tegen topgevel met klimmende nissen; aan de westzijde in 1688 herbouwde toren. In de kerk zangerstribune met rijk snijwerk door H.Hagart uit 1554. Voorts bezit de kerk preekstoel met achterschot en klankbord; op de kuip gesneden figuren van Geloof, Hoop en Liefde; gesloten doophek met festoenen op de pilasters. Vier overhuifde herenbanken, enige eenvoudige banken met paneelwerk. Een aantal 17e en 18e eeuwse grafzerken. Drie koperen kronen. Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk en vrij Pedaal. In 1870 gemaakt door W. Hardorff. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van S. Butendiic, 1468, diam. 136 cm. en één van J. Noteman, 1645, diam. 130 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk D. Wielinga, Franeker, 1955.

Description
Reformed CHURCH AND TOWER on an enclosed churchyard. Gothic church building with older components externally largely repointed in the 19th century; against the north side of the five-sided closed nave a sacristy with storey under a gabled roof against a gable with climbing niches; on the west side a tower rebuilt in 1688. In the church a singer's tribune with rich carved work by H. Hagart from 1554. The church further possesses a pulpit with back panel and sounding board; on the bowl carved figures of Faith, Hope and Charity; closed font screen with festoons on the pilasters. Four canopied gentlemen's pews, some simple benches with panelwork. A number of 17th and 18th-century grave stones. Three brass crowns. Organ with Great Organ, Swell Organ and free Pedal. Made in 1870 by W. Hardorff. Bell frame with ring of two bells, one by S. Butendiic, 1468, diam. 136 cm, and one by J. Noteman, 1645, diam. 130 cm. Mechanical tower clock D. Wielinga, Franeker, 1955.
