In schoon metselwerk - met gepleisterde banden en blokken - opgetrokken blok van twee (thans vier) WONINGEN met verdieping; de aan de voorzijde risalerende middenpartij onder hoog, met rode muldenpannen gedekt schilddak (nok 1 straat), dat zich aan de voorzijde splitst in twee insteekkappen met wolfeind; de zijvleugels onder iets lagere, met rode muldenpannen gedekte zadeldaken (nok/straat) met wolfeind; tegen de achterzijde van de zijvleugels een vlakgedekte aanbouw (bijkeuken) zonder verdieping; getoogde (T-)vensters met 4-, 8-, 10- en 12-ruits roedenverdeling in de bovenlichten en grote roedenverdeling in de onderramen; deuren met getoogd 8-ruits bovenlicht. De woningen zijn mogelijk naar ontwerp van arch.Lugten in 1920 gebouwd door de Oranje Nassau Mijnen ten behoeve van twee hoofdopzichters van de mijn Oranje Nassau III en vormen door de aanleg, waarin de hierarchische opbouw van het mijnwezen tot uiting komt. en door de eenheid in architectuur, kleur- en materiaalgebruik tesamen met Ganzeweide 27 en 35 t/m 49 het meest gave voorbeeld van de woningbouw voor (hogere) mijnbeambten.

Description
In neat brickwork - with plastered bands and blocks - erected block of two (now four) DWELLINGS with storey; the middle section projecting at the front under a high, covered with red pantiles hipped roof (ridge 1 street), which splits at the front into two set-in gables with half-hipped ends; the side wings under slightly lower, covered with red pantiles gabled roofs (ridge/street) with half-hipped ends; against the rear of the side wings a flat-roofed extension (scullery) without storey; arched (T-)windows with 4-, 8-, 10- and 12-pane glazing bars in the fanlights and large glazing bars in the lower frames; doors with arched 8-pane fanlight. The dwellings were possibly built to the design of architect Lugten in 1920 by the Oranje Nassau Mines for the benefit of two chief overseers of the mine Oranje Nassau III and form, through their layout, in which the hierarchical structure of the mining industry is expressed, and through the unity in architecture, colour and material use together with Ganzeweide 27 and 35 to 49 the finest surviving example of housing for (senior) mining officials.
