Omschrijving
Op de Zeedijk buiten de stad staat de zogenaamde Stenen Man, een bronzen Januskop als waker over twee dijkgebieden, op een hardstenen voetstuk. Het monument is opgericht als herinnering aan de verdienste die Caspar de Robles zich verwierf bij het dijkherstel na de Allerheiligenvloed in 1570. Dijkgraaf van Wassenaar van Twickel liet het in 1774 herbouwen.

Description
On the Zeedijk outside the city stands the so-called Stone Man, a bronze Janus head as guardian over two dike areas, on a sandstone pedestal. The monument was erected as a memorial to the services that Caspar de Robles rendered in dike restoration after the All Saints' Flood in 1570. Dike Reeve van Wassenaar van Twickel had it rebuilt in 1774.
