HOOFDWACHT, oorspronkelijk particulier huis omstreeks 1650 ter plaatse van het eerste raadhuis opgetrokken, in 1765 tot hoofdwacht ingericht.
Pand met rechte kroonlijst waarboven houten balustrade; boven ingang door gebogen fronton gedekt middenvenster waarvoor balkon.
Festoenen en tropeeen hangen tussen de vensters der verdieping naar beneden.

Description
GUARDHOUSE, originally a private house built around 1650 in place of the first town hall, converted to guardhouse in 1765.
Building with straight cornice above which wooden balustrade; above entrance covered by curved pediment central window in front of which balcony.
Festoons and trophies hang between the windows of the storey downwards.
