Omschrijving
St.Jozef. 1886-1887 door P.J.H. Cuypers en J.Th.J. Cuypers.
Neogotische basiliek zonder transept, met schoorbogen, ronde pijlers met lijstkapitelen en blind triforium, bestaande uit nissen met bakstenen traceringen.
Kruisribgewelven.
Rechthoekige kapel tegen de zuiderzijbeuk.
Zeskantige toren naast de voorgevel, bekroond door een opengewerkte ijzeren spits.
Het oorspronkelijk meubilair van Cuypers, Stoltzenberg en F.W. Mengelberg is grotendeels nog aanwezig.
Belangrijk werk uit Cuypers' tweede periode, geinspireerd door de Broederenkerk in Zutphen. Orgel met 2 klavieren en vrij pedaal, in 1906 gemaakt door M. Maarschalkerweerd.
Eenklaviers koororgel met drie gedeelde registers, vermoedelijk gemaakt rond 1820 door onbekende maker voor een particuliere opdrachtgever, geleverd door pianohandel F. Schrimpf en E. Neogothic basilica without transept, with flying buttresses, round pillars with moulded capitals and blind triforium, consisting of niches with brick tracery.
Cross-rib vaults.
Rectangular chapel against the south aisle.
Hexagonal tower beside the front facade, crowned by an open-work iron spire.
The original furnishings by Cuypers, Stoltzenberg and F.W. Mengelberg are largely still present.
Important work from Cuypers' second period, inspired by the Broederenkerk in Zutphen. Organ with 2 manuals and free pedal, made in 1906 by M. Maarschalkerweerd.
One-manual choir organ with three divided stops, presumably made around 1820 by unknown maker for a private patron, supplied by piano dealer F. Schrimpf and E. Bergmann, originating from the St. Nicolaaskerk in St. Nicolaasga, where it was purchased in 1974 from the St. Martinuskathedraal in Groningen.
