Voormalig Stadhuis - oudste deel HOEKGEBOUW Dagelijkse Groenmarkt-Kerkplein (1564-'65), een van de rijkste voorbeelden van de vroegere renaissance - in 1773 en volgende jaren vergroot met een vleugel langs het Kerkplein, bekroond door beeldhouwwerk van J.B. Xavery - de gevel langs de Dagelijkse Groenmarkt dateert van 1882.
Inwendig - in het oudste gedeelte - rijk gesneden schepengestoelte uit 1671: de achttiende-eeuwse vleugel bevat gesneden betimmeringen, stucwerk en een aantal belangrijke schilderingen.

Description
Former Town Hall - oldest section CORNER BUILDING Dagelijkse Groenmarkt-Kerkplein (1564-'65), one of the richest examples of early Renaissance - enlarged in 1773 and following years with a wing along the Kerkplein, crowned with sculpture by J.B. Xavery - the facade along the Dagelijkse Groenmarkt dates from 1882.
Interior - in the oldest section - richly carved aldermen's bench from 1671: the eighteenth-century wing contains carved woodwork, stucco and a number of important paintings.
