Omschrijving
Door M.de Klerk en P.Kramer 1918-1923 gebouwd complex, dat het pendant vormt van het blok Therese Schwarzeplein-Therese Schwarzestraat. Willem Pastoorstraat-Burg.Tellegenstraat-Pieter Lodewijk Takstraat. Voorbeeld van de "Amsterdamsche School" in stijl in haar meest levendige irrationele fase, gekenmerkt door zuiver decoratieve golvingen en sprongen in de muurvlakken, onconstructieve dakvormen en een geheel aan het uitwendige effect ondergeschikte inwendige indeling; de vensters zijn van een karakteristieke horizontale roedenverdeling voorzien. Complex built by M. de Klerk and P. Kramer 1918-1923, which forms the counterpart of the block Therese Schwarzeplein-Therese Schwarzestraat. Willem Pastoorstraat-Burg. Tellegenstraat-Pieter Lodewijk Takstraat. Example of the "Amsterdamsche School" in style in its most lively irrational phase, characterised by purely decorative undulations and jumps in the wall surfaces, unconstructive roof forms and an entire interior layout subordinate to external effect; the windows are provided with characteristic horizontal glazing bars. Highly animated walls, which by their sloping jumps, parapet forms, plastered connecting pieces between window groups and the rising and falling boundary between red and yellow brickwork suggest a wave motion. (P.L. Takstr. 7-25, Burg. Tellegenstr. 44-54) alternate with calm (Burg. Tellegenstr. 60/Talmastr. 2-12, H. Ronnerstr. 2-12 and 18-20 and H.
