Fort Boven-Lent. Op de rechter oever van de Waal tegenover Nijmegen ter bestrijking van de rivier en ter verdediging van de spoorbrug in 1862 gebouwd Fort Boven Lent of Sprokkelenburg. Buitendijks gelegen, gekazematteerd bomvrij gebouw met onregelmatige, vierkante, toren, natte gracht en glacis, gedeeltelijk met walgang.

Description
Fort Boven-Lent. On the right bank of the Waal opposite Nijmegen for controlling the river and for defence of the railway bridge, built in 1862 Fort Boven Lent or Sprokkelenburg. Located outside the dike, casemented bombproof building with irregular, square, tower, wet moat and glacis, partly with wallwalk.
