Omschrijving
"Loowaard". Op een hoogte gelegen havezate XVIc op rechthoekige plattegrond, gedekt door twee evenwijdige zadeldaken, die aan de noordzijde door puntgevels met vlechtingen en aan de zuidzijde door ingezwenkte gevels met restanten van pinakels worden afgesloten. Op de N.O.-hoek een achtkantige bakstenen traptoren, verlevendigd door muizetanden, rijzige spaarbogen en een boogfries onder de spits. De oostgevel, waarbij de toren aansluit, heeft natuurstenen banden, smalle Ionische pilasters, geprofileerde natuurstenen lijsten en een gotisch boogfries op maskerconsoles onder de daklijst. Overigens hier en daar resten van Baumbergerstenen kruisvensters en smalle vensters met middendorpels. In de oostgevel van de toren een steen met renaissanceornament en opschrift. Moderne deel tegen noordzijde van het huis.

Description
"Loowaard". Located on a height, a manor house second half of 16th century on a rectangular floor plan, covered by two parallel saddle roofs, which on the north side are closed off by pointed gables with wattle and on the south side by inturned gables with remnants of pinnacles. On the N.E. corner an octagonal brick spiral tower, enlivened by mouse-teeth, tall relieving arches and an arch frieze under the spire. The east gable, to which the tower adjoins, has natural stone bands, narrow Ionic pilasters, moulded natural stone lists and a Gothic arch frieze on mask consoles under the roof cornice. Otherwise here and there remnants of Baumberg stone cross windows and narrow windows with centre mullions. In the east gable of the tower a stone with Renaissance ornament and inscription. Modern section against the north side of the house.
