Omschrijving
Huis "Rijswijk". Op een omgrachte hoogte gelegen v.m. havezate (XVI B), bestaande uit twee sterk verminkte vleugels, die in plattegrond een L-vorm beslaan en een aangebouwde schuur. Inwendig balkenzolders met sleutelstukken uit de bouwtijd. Kap XIX met gebruikmaking van de 16e eeuwse spanten.
De schuur dateert uit begin van de 20ste eeuw en vertoont Duitse invloeden, die onder meer herkenbaar zijn aan het getrapte fries als beeindiging van de topgevel. De schuur met rechthoekige plattegrond bestaat uit een bouwlaag en wordt afgesloten door een zadeldak met niet oorspronkelijke golfplaten. In de zijgevels bevinden zich regelmatig verdeelde, segmentboogvormige, gietijzeren, staande stalramen met zesruits roedenverdeling. De ramen worden aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een segmentboogvormige rollaag en aan de onderzijde door een bakstenen lekdorpel. In de topgevel bevindt zich links op de begane grond een dubbele houten geklampte segmentboogvormige inrijdeur met rechts daarvan respectievelijk een dichtgemetselde enkele deur, een zesruits stalraam, een dichtgemetselde dubbele deur met uiterst rechts een enkele houten geklampte segmentboogvormige deur. In de geveltop bevinden zich drie rondvensters met roedenverdeling. In het interieur bevindt zich een gebintconstructie die op de begane grond is vervangen door een staalconstructie.
Waardering
De schuur is van algemeen architectuurhistorische, cultuurhistorische en stedenbouwkundige waarde:
- als functioneel onderdeel (bijgebouw) van historisch gegroeid complex ontstaan in de 15/16de eeuw;
- als voorbeeld van een vroeg 20ste eeuwse schuur waarvan de bouwstijl is beinvloed door de Duits Romaanse architectuur;
- als weergave van een voormalig boerenbedrijf;

House "Rijswijk". Located on an embanked height, formerly a manor house (second half of 16th century), consisting of two severely damaged wings, which span an L-shape in floor plan, and an adjoining barn. Internally timber-joisted floors with keyed beams from the building period. Roof truss structure 19th century using 16th-century rafters.
The barn dates from the beginning of the 20th century and shows German influences, which are recognisable among other things in the stepped frieze as the termination of the top gable. The barn with rectangular floor plan consists of one storey and is closed off by a saddle roof with non-original corrugated sheets. In the side gables are regularly distributed segmental-arch-shaped, cast-iron, standing stable windows with six-pane glazing bars. The windows are closed at the top by a segmental-arch-shaped roller course and at the bottom by a brick drip-edge tile. In the top gable on the left at ground level is a double wooden riveted segmental-arch-shaped carriage door with to its right respectively a mortared-up single door, a six-pane stable window, a mortared-up double door with at the far right a single wooden riveted segmental-arch-shaped door. In the gable peak are three round windows with glazing bars. In the interior is a roof truss structure which at ground level has been replaced by a steel construction.
Valuation
The barn is of general architectural-historical, cultural-historical and urban planning value:
- as a functional component (outbuilding) of a historically developed complex arising in the 15th/16th century;
- as an example of an early 20th-century barn whose building style was influenced by German Romanesque architecture;
