Omschrijving
R.K. KERK (St. Andreas). Laatgotische dorpskerk met pseudobasilikaal schip (circa1500) en romaanse toren met versiering van lisenen en boogfriezen eerste helft zeventiende eeuw?). Zeer hoge naaldspits. Het oude priesterkoor is in 1891 in neo-gotische stijl vernieuwd en vergroot en andermaal vernieuwd door de architect H. Valk in 1932-'33, toen een monumentaal dwarspand met kruistoren en absis verrezen. In het schip inwendig zuilen en kruisribgewelven (volgens Duiven). Inventaris: doopvont, gotisch, van hardsteen (vijftiende eeuw), drie zerken, waarvan één uit 1569 en één uit 1546. Klokkenstoel met gelui van drie klokken, waarvan een van G. R.C. CHURCH (St. Andreas). Late Gothic village church with pseudo-basilical nave (circa 1500) and Romanesque tower with decoration of pilaster strips and arch friezes first half of seventeenth century?). Very high needle spire. The old priest's choir was renewed in 1891 in neo-Gothic style and enlarged and again renewed by the architect H. Valk in 1932-'33, when a monumental transept with crossing tower and apse were erected. In the nave internally columns and cross-ribbed vaults (according to Duiven). Inventory: baptismal font, Gothic, of sandstone (fifteenth century), three grave slabs, of which one from 1569 and one from 1546. Bell-cote with chimes of three bells, of which one by G. Schimmel, 1692, diam. 80 cm. and two modern bells. Mechanical tower clock B. Vortmann, later provided with electric winding.
