Omschrijving
R.K. KERK (O.L.Vrouwe). Grote, laatgotische kerk met pseudobasilicaal schip (XV B), eenbeukig koor met driezijdige sluiting (XIV B) en mooie, zware toren van drie geledingen met in elk gevelvlak twee getraceerde nissen en steunberen aan de westzijde. De kerk is geheel door kruisribgewelven op pijlers overkluisd. In 1953 werd het gebouw door de Ned. Hervormde Gemeente verkocht aan de R.K. Parochie, waarna een grondige restauratie inzette, die in 1962 gereed kwam. De vier gesneden apostelbeelden uit de vroegere R.K. Kerk, die dateren uit XVd hebben in de gerestaureerde dorpskerk een plaats gekregen.

Description
R.C. CHURCH (Our Lady). Large, late Gothic church with pseudo-basilical nave (15th century second half), single-aisle choir with three-sided closure (14th century second half) and fine, heavy tower of three storeys with in each façade surface two traceried niches and buttresses on the west side. The church is entirely covered with cross-ribbed vaults on pillars. In 1953 the building was sold by the Dutch Reformed Church to the R.C. Parish, after which a thorough restoration began, which was completed in 1962. The four carved apostle figures from the former R.C. Church, which date from the 15th century, have been given a place in the restored village church.
