Omschrijving
Het landhuis, eertijds stadsherberg, thans politiebureau. Pand met forse, in de top 1637 gedateerde trapgevel van baksteen met overvloedig gebruik van natuursteen. De gevel verticaal en horizontaal (5 lagen) geleed door geblokte lisenen en strakke friezen, rustend op de gebeeldhouwde kopjes van de ontlastingsbogen der kruisvensters. De grote trappen van de top voorzien van voluten en hoekobelisken en eindigend met een door een boogfronton gedekte beeldnis met beeld van een krijger, het stadswapen vasthoudend. Aan de begane grond middenpoort en twee zijpoorten, alle voorzien van rijk gebeeldhouwde natuurstenen omlijstingen met cartouches en obelisken.

Description
The country house, formerly city inn, now police station. Building with substantial, at the top dated 1637 stepped gable of brick with abundant use of natural stone. The facade divided vertically and horizontally (5 storeys) by rusticated pilaster strips and tight friezes, resting on the sculptured heads of the relief arches of the cross windows. The large steps of the top provided with volutes and corner obelisks and ending with a sculptured figure covered by an arched pediment, holding the city coat of arms. At ground level central gateway and two side gateways, all provided with richly sculptured natural stone surrounds with cartouches and obelisks.
