Omschrijving
Eenvoudig doch verzorgd douanegebouw op rechthoekige plattegrond (ca.1900), opgetrokken uit baksteen en gedekt door met daktegels belegd zadeldak; twee hoekschoorstenen, aanbouw achterzijde van veel jongere datum. Het metselwerk wordt verlevendigd door het gebruik van een lichte en een donkere steensoort en door de toepassing van groen geglazuurde steen voor de afzaten onder de vensters; langs de topgevels geprofileerde lijsten; dakgoot op geprofileerde steunen; sierankers; vierruitsvensters met tweeruits bovenlicht en luiken; siermetselwerk in de boogvelden; dito uitgevoerde tweeruitsvensters met ongedeeld bovenlicht; twee blinde vensters en vier zoldervensters; centrale ingangsdeur met tweeruitsbovenlicht; keldervensters.

Description
Simple yet carefully executed customs building on rectangular plan (c.1900), built of brick and covered by a gabled roof laid with roof tiles; two corner chimneys, extension at rear of much later date. The brickwork is enlivened by the use of light and dark stone types and by the application of green glazed stone for the plinth below the windows; along the gable ends profiled mouldings; roof gutter on profiled supports; ornamental wall anchors; four-pane windows with two-pane fanlights and shutters; decorative brickwork in the arch spandrels; likewise executed two-pane windows with undivided fanlight; two blind windows and four attic windows; central entrance door with two-pane fanlight; basement windows.
