Het huis van Assendelft, van 1806-1840 weeshuis, Liefdegesticht der zusters Franciscanessen. Van het oorspronkelijke huis, in 1840 ingrijpend verbouwd, rest slechts het achtkante traptorentje, uit het begin van de zestiende eeuw. Stoeppalen en hek.

Description
The house of Assendelft, from 1806-1840 an orphanage, Charity Institution of the Franciscan sisters. Of the original house, substantially rebuilt in 1840, only the octagonal stair tower from the early sixteenth century remains. Bollards and fence.
