Omschrijving
Huis Brecht, voormalig Militair Hospitaal, thans deel van de Koninklijke Militaire Academie. Laatgotisch woonhuis uit de eerste helft der 16e eeuw, omstreeks 1830 zeer gewijzigd. Een overwelfde, oorspronkelijk open galerij loopt langs de haaks op elkaar staande vleugels. Bij de verbouwing plm 1830 is de vleugel langs de straat oostwaarts verlengd. Wijde rondbogige inrijpoort vlak bij de westgevel uitkomend op de binnenhof.

Description
Brecht House, formerly Military Hospital, now part of the Royal Military Academy. Late Gothic residential house from the first half of the 16th century, much altered circa 1830. A barrel-vaulted, originally open gallery runs along the wings at right angles to one another. During the alterations around 1830, the wing along the street was extended eastwards. Wide round-arched carriage entrance close by the west gable opening onto the courtyard.
