Exterior description and setting
A pair of 1½ storey houses with hipped roofs and rendered walls and common brickwork chimney.
SETTING: The buildings stand facing the main road but set back from it with gardens in front.
Historical information
Built in the 1920s as a ‘Soldiers and Sailors Housing Scheme’, to designs of the government’s architects, for returning servicemen after the 1st World War. Such housing was built all over Northern Ireland.

This is an example of a particular type of inter-war housing built to standardised plans and elevations, which in this case has undergone later inappropriate alterations which have detracted from the original character and appearance
