Exterior description and setting
A terrace of two-storey houses of two types: nos. 19-23 have pebble-dashed walls and smooth cement rendered and painted dressings; roof of Bangor blue slates in regular courses, with modern rooflights; modern brick chimneys; doorways are modern rectangular panelled timber surmounted by radially glazed fanlights set in panelled surrounds; approached by stone steps. Windows are rectangular timber sliding sash, vertically hung, 1 over 1, with horns; rainwater goods partly cast iron and partly pvc.
Nos. 25 and 29 have similarly slated roofs, with red terracotta ridge tiles; red brick chimneys missing some original moulded brick cornices; walls are rendered with dry dash, with moulded brick eaves courses; windows are mainly modern timber fixed lights with top-hung vents but no. 29 still retains original timber sashes, 1 over 1 with horns; pvc gutters and downpipes; doors are modern rectangular panelled timber.
SETTING: The terrace at nos. 19-23 stands facing the main street but set back slightly from it behind original cast iron railings on low stone plinth walls. Nos. 25-29 face directly onto the street.
