The Department's description

Description of pump at rear of house added prior to a full Second Survey of this property.:
Cast iron cow tailed water pump fixed to timber back board on rear of house. Casting has a lion motif but no other markings. The pump is similar to yard pumps in Lee Howl of Tipton's catalogue of 1912. The pump is still in working order and draws water from a small nearby well.
