Exterior description and setting
Standard Glenfield and Kennedy fountain with a plain fluted column and a fluted cap with an acorn finial.
Historical information
Not shown on the 1906 and 1956 25 inch OS maps. It was presumably in use between these dates. Further particulars in the EHS report 'Water Pumps in Northern Ireland : A Preliminary Survey' by Fred Hammond, January 1997. Pump No. 18. It was installed to supersede an earlier cow tailed pump at the same road junction.
