Exterior description and setting
The original building has now been demolished and replaced by a single-storey extension to the adjoining public house (HB16/15/009).
Historical information
A building is shown on this site on the 1835 OS 6” map.
The first survey card states that the building on this site was:
“a two-storey house with single-storey shed. Roof slated and walls are rough-cast. Three first floor and two ground floor double-hung windows with vertical astragals and recent steel casements. Door is panelled and glazed. Plain facing round windows and double facing round door. Single-storey extension has square double hung windows with astragals and sheeted garage door. Condition of house fair and extension roof is poor”. There were no first survey slides.
