The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Three semicircular arches carry a two-lane road over the Forkhill River. E and middle arches wider and higher than that to W. Voussoirs of dressed granite. Piers, spandrels and parapets of random rubble; the latter is coped with larger granite blocks. Angled cutwaters (to arch spring level) of cast concrete on both sides.
Base of abutments and piers faced with concrete. Soffits have been 'Gunnited.' Long approach walls to each end, partly faced with concrete.
