The Department's description
Exterior description and setting
Situated on north-facing slope just above a small settlement on slope of Kinahalla. A short ramp leads to 2m diameter pot which tapers inwards to a now infilled base. Lined with rounded granite field stones. Front faced with quarried rubble schist and stands to a maximum height of 2.5m. The lintel over the draw hole entrance has collapsed along with part of the front wall. This opening measures 80cm wide by 135cm high and slopes down and in to the draw hole proper.
