Demolished - a replacement dwelling has been constructed on the site.

Historical information

Although buildings are shown at this location on the 1834 and 1859 OS 6” maps, none have the orientation or plan form of the house which existed here until recently. The 1902 map shows the site in its recent form. A new house first appears in the 1906 valuation revision book, suggesting a construction date of c.1900.

The HMBB slide dated April 1977 shows a single storey / three bay vernacular house. It has a pitched natural slate roof with clay tile skews. There is a whitewashed and rendered chimney on party wall between left and central bays and another on right gable. No rainwater goods. Walls are whitewashed lime dash. Main entrance is set within a shallow gable porch which abuts right side of central bay. Its pitched natural slate roof partially ties into the main roof and has a fretted timber bargeboard. Its walls are as main block, with doorway to front and right side cheek blank (left probably blank too). To left of this porch is a 6/6 sliding sash window with horns and there is a similar window to each remaining bay.

Left gable and rear elevation not shown. Right gable is blank and abutted by a lean-to outbuilding with lean-to roof, walls as main block and a sheeted door to front elevation.

A block of outbuildings with corrugated metal and natural slate roofs, rendered walls and sheeted door can be seen to rear.
