The Department's description

A ruinous single-storey three-bay vernacular dwelling with outbuilding, aligned E-W on E side of road.

Roof is now gone but was pitched and thatched. There is a lime rendered chimney between bays one and two, and to E gable. Walls are random rubble stone, with vestiges of lime render. Windows are gone and cills are stone.

Principal elevation faces S. Left bay wall is partially collapsed and has the remains of a concrete block cill. Central bay has a door opening with stone lintel at right and a window opening at left. Right bay has a window opening to centre.

W gable is blank.

Rear elevation has a window to middle and right bay.

N gable is abutted by a single storey three bay outbuilding, detailed as house but with a pitched corrugated metal roof and whitewashed walls. S elevation has a door to each bay. All other elevations are blank.

A formerly thatched vernacular dwelling set gable to the road in an isolated setting. It is now ruinous and retains few original features, save for a large traditional fireplace in central bay.
